| Fee : A consultation lasts one hour and the cost is $180. Fees are payable at the time of your appointment by cash , cheque or EFTPOS. Please contact me if you have any questions about the fee. Medicare Rebates : If you have been assessed by a GP or Psychiatrist as eligible for a Mental Health Care Plan, you will receive a Medicare rebate of $85.20 per session. This allows for a maximum of 10 Medicare sessions in a calendar year. After the first 6 sessions, if a further 4 sessions required I send a report to your doctor, who decides whether to authorise the remaining sessions. Rebates cannot be claimed for fees incurred by cancellations. Health Insurance Rebates : Please check with your private health insurer to determine if you are covered and how much your rebate will be. Most funds provide a rebate dependant on your level of cover. Rebates cannot be claimed for fees incurred by cancellations. Is a referral needed ?: You do not need a referral to consult a Psychologist, however it is needed if you intend to claim the Medicare rebate. Cancellation Policy : Other than circumstances beyond your control, I reserve the right to charge you the full fee should you fail to attend or cancel within 24hrs of your appointment.
